Download & Save a File in App Itself

    Hi there,

So i have a link on my website that points to a attachment e.g:
    https://www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/sites/default/files/2017-06/Cat%20M%20Prices%20-%20Quarter%202%20Jul%2017%20v2.xlsx

When i click the link within the app it takes me to the external browser to download it, is it not possible for it to be downloaded within the app and save to storage?

    is there a special command?

@max , It is not possible yet. However, we will be adding an Internal Download Manager so that files can be downloaded within the app.

  3. Please add Internal Download Manager in your application. i am facing problem in image download.

Having the same issue, but my case is a bit different, I'm creating the image file on the fly and need to save it to user's device. And I get a toast sayings that Cannot download the file if it is not coming from http/url, which is a crossOrigin problem, as my app is local and uses the file:// protocol.

I've heard that it might be unblocked by toggling some lines of code in the java files, but we don't have access to it.
